BEIJING: With the rapidly growing construction industry of China, there is an increased demand for products that are used in construction. Pakistan which is not seeing a rapid development as some of its neighbors are is fast becoming an exporter of products that can be beneficial for its construction material industry.
The same is the case with Pakistani marbles which are seemingly high in demand right now within the People’s Republic of China. The trade is also seeing a rise because of the free trade agreement which was signed between the two countries back in the year 2006. Each year, according to a report, Pakistan is exporting more than 100,000 tons of marbles to China.
What is the good thing about Pakistani marbles is that people in China especially the developers are loving Pakistani marbles that seemed to them is unique and comes with multiple textures. The General Manager of Xiamen Stone Trading Company has stated to our sources that there seems to be a rise in the orders of marbles from Pakistan, which is slowed down during this year because of COVID-19 Pandemic.
Taxila is one of the most historically renowned places that have the best marble to offer to the different parts of the country. Today, with few Pakistani exports, it is helping not only the industry to survive but also helping with the export industry of Pakistan. Seemingly this is indeed a good step for the local names that can earn extra cash from exporting marbles to China.
