Pakistan Naval Ship (PNS) Yarmook has one of the best and state of the Art weapons and security systems that are much needed for Pakistan to ensure maritime security of its border remains intact. Especially considering the increased security risk with Gwadar Port becoming operational under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Pakistan has a coastline of 990 k/m, where the security forces of Pakistan have to maintain a strong presence to ensure the coastline does not fall under the hands of international drug lords and smugglers. Another corvette is also in order and expected to reach Pakistan by the mid of next year, 2021 from the same company M/S DAMEN Shipyards, Romania.
